Artistic And Acting Family Workshops: "Direction On Identity"

We invite you on an extraordinary journey, during which we will present to children, Poland, and Poland's symbols, values, history and geography. Join us on November 2-4th for CREATIVITY WORKSHOPS for families. Children and their parents are invited to creative family workshops at the Polish Slavic Center. The special guests of the workshop will be: Paulina Holtz and Elena Leszczyńska.

Planned workshop activities:

Piast dynasty, the Jagiellonian and contemporary generation - coming up with common elements of the script and drawing comics

  • Tijo, trijo, tru lu lu lu lu - play voice, which is what an actor does preparing for a show
  • Highlanders sowed oats - elementary acting tasks
  • Mermaid - the creation of a board game
  • “Matejkowanie” - a painting of a giant image on a black background
  • Little Pole - national handcrafts, art works to develop small motor skills
  • Hats have souls - creating paper headwear
  • Tour the Pologne - movement games, obstacle course, playing with bottle caps
  • Little improvisation - an active reading of fragments of a children's book by Paulina Holtz


Parents and children over the age of 13 are welcome at the premiere screening of the virtual reality technology "A NOTE FROM THE UPRISING" (in the ticket price).

Dates:

November 2 from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm
November 3 & 4 from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm 

Where: The Polish Slavic Center, 177 Kent Street, Greenpoint

Suggested age: 4-10 years.
